My name is Mady, and I was born in Kendall, Florida. I grew up in Miami, Florida, and I am currently living in the Weston/Pembroke Pines/Ft. Lauderdale area of South Florida.  I’ve been a visual artist for all my life (coloring on walls ), and an author for about the last 4 years or so.

My inspiration comes from my Hispanic/Cuban-American culture, which I incorporate into my writing for some reason, the books I read, movies I see and the people and objects around me. I’m a creative and bright person and I guess I get along with everyone.

I would describe myself as loving and reasonable. I’m definitely not shy. I’m a social person that loves to talk and argue, and don’t be afraid to tell me I talk too much. I’m a hopeless romantic, and my work usually has romance incorporated in it, if not centered on love. Most of the time, I have little hearts scribbled on the corners of my drawings, at the very least. I’m loyal, friendly and caring too, so I’ll have time to at least reply to mostly everyone. You can also ask me for advice; I’m supposedly a great giver of advice and wise morals.

I’m a Libra born in the year of the Tiger, and I have an attitude problem. I won’t ever be moody or mean to you, unless you’re mean to me. I love books and quite often have my nose buried into one. I’ve read books like Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Hunger Games, Maximum Ride, The Help, any book involving astrology, mythology, or just awesome stuff.

No, I have not read Twilight or Harry Potter. Leave me alone wizards and vampires and werewolves, I’ll get to you eventually.
